HOPE Group

HOPE GROUP.

We asked the women we are working with in medical and prevention education to choose a name for their group. HOPE is the name elected by them. If we had had to choose a name it wouldn´t have been better, it is sure.

The experience with Hope Group has been, doubtless, one of the best of this month working in Msitu Wa Tembo. Just because it is difficult to imagine how exciting and interesting can be to share experiences and knowledge with them and what is more important; bidirectional.

All of us will spend at least a week with these women, preparing and explaining a seminar based in our previous information and research but mostly in their request.  All of us have worries because we want to take advantage of this chance and be useful for this people interested in our advices and it is really heartwarming see how concerned they are. Not only in our seminars, they have demanded a lot of information and practical knowledge based in real situations.  We are working to respond as well as possible.

This is one of the most pleasurable activities in the community as it is not only work, it is our direct activity with people and we can make out the results in their illusion and, why not, their hope (and ours) for continuing this training for a long time.
